Releasing in 2019 Ohana was my first project. These thoughtful and boppy tracks take you through a young Gibryl at the beginning stages of processing grief, love, and race. The project also has a through theme of family dynamics, hence the name Ohana. (Only on Soundcloud)

In 2022 after the death of my paternal grandfather. My brother (locdsam) and I, while in college, came together to create this soulful rap mixtape. We had been writing and recording for the better half of a year and decided to compile some of our favorite tracks (The original track list had 5 more songs on it). If you’re a hip-hop head, into boom bap, or you just appreciate bars, wisdom, and truth this project will blow you away. This still remains one of my favorites to this day. (Only on Soundcloud)

*Fav Song Irreplaceable

During COVID19 I started posting videos of me rapping live over popular beats, or just ones that I really loved. By 2023 I had a collection of fan favorite videos, but they could only be accessed via social media. So, in anticipation and preparation for the upcoming release of The Cancer, The Freestyles are recorded versions of these videos, so that we can listen to these well loved tracks in the car. *Fav Song BrylL’s Remorse

In 2023 this bitesized emotional album was released. Most of The Cancer is me processing my feelings, and wrapping up my time at university. I Love this album because it feels so much like me, I recorded all the tracks at my in home studio (closet), and a good chunk of the songs are mainly just stories of my life during that time.

This sequel to Ohana released in 2025 shares it’s sentiment to songs written in a reflection on family including songs processing parenthood, brotherhood, love, and my city. I really wanted to make people think about their responsibility to the people they love with these tracks.

The Appetizer and the House Salad are tiny EPs that are a part of a larger series ending with The Main Course. Like most of my songs these are emotional tracks, stories, and an all around diary. Mostly about my love life but also maneuvering through adulting and “shadow work. If you like deep metaphorical and true raps, these are for you.
