History

Coatesville Cultural Society

In an ensemble theatre founded by my grandfather, in which my parents worked together. This became a safe haven and creative utopia for me with the connections that I had both to the art being cerated and the people I was creating it with. The study of the chorus, and the humor in Lyrics of Love and Laughter is where I fell in love with theater and the basis of my practice. The opportunity to be in plays that told powerful stories at a young age felt like a responsibility and an honor. It was different than the musicals I was experiencing in high school. This is what I want to offer youth today.

The theater was created to tell people the truth about life and the social situation.

Dream Project, School of the Arts

One of the best ways to learn something is to teach it. As a lover of the arts, I want my passion to live on by contributing to an art school in my hometown.

Why: The idea really comes from the younger generation of my family and local community. I believe there is a richness in taking part in the creation of performing for a live audience, teaching it and studying it just scratches the surface, but it could be extremely beneficial to open minds.

Where: Coatesville. Ideally.

Who: The dream is for it to be for high school and college age, as like a peer mentoring concept. Coaches, will act as staff usually taking the leadership roles.
